James "Jimmy" William Gordon, 66, of Campbellsville passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023. Born in Danville on August 30, 1957, he was the son of the late Billy and Patsy Elder Gordon.

Jimmy retired from Kentucky Utilities and had worked in the utility business for over 30 years and had also farmed. He enjoyed working and aggravating his family and friends. Jimmy also enjoyed boating and his time on Green River Lake.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Carla Snow; daughter, Whitney Peyton, of Hustonville; stepson, Devin (Haley) Burton of Liberty; sisters: Gail (Ken) Richards of Hustonville and Vicky Knuckles of Campbellsville; brothers: Terry (Sue) Gordon of Campbellsville and Randy (Nina) Gordon of Danville; grandchildren: Matte Peyton, Westin Burton, and Amelya Burton; a special great-nephew, Bo David Gordon, and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday at 1:00 PM with Bro. Vola Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Devin Burton, Ty Gordon, Zac Gordon, Zack Mills, Terry Edwards, and Jeffrey Snow.
