James Albert Fair, 74, of Hustonville passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025. Born September 7, 1950, he was the son of the late Albert and Elsie Cochran Fair.  In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by "the love of his life", his wife, Barbara Godbey Fair, and sisters, Linda Walls and Judy Derringer.

James owned and operated Fair Body Shop and was a retired factory worker.  He enjoyed sitting in the garage, in the sun, and watching wild animals. He made knives as a hobby.

James is survived by a son, James Albert Fair, Jr. of Hustonville; daughters, Teresa (Garnett) Owens of McKinney and Misty Brock of Hustonville; grandchildren: Robyn (Derek) Curtsinger of Stanford, Lathan Fair of Knifley, Stephanie Warner of Hustonville, and Kynley Fair of Knifley; and 2 great-grandchildren, Micah and Lakoda.

Visitation is 5-8 PM Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Wednesday with burial at Hustonville Cemetery.  A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
