Jacqueline "Jackie" Jones Minks, 72, of Moreland passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022.  Born March 12, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Paula Marshall Jones.  Jackie was conscientious, a hard worker, and a sharp dresser.  She was very outgoing and never met a stranger. Jackie loved to read, watch Western movies, and listen to Country music.  She was a gifted seamstress and was very crafty.  Her home could have been displayed in House Beautiful, especially on holidays.  Jackie was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and Christian.

She is survived by her sons, Chip (Callie) Minks of Louisville and Ben Minks (Brie Metzger) of Lexington; sisters, Paulette Allen of Harrodsburg and Vickie (Charlie) Perry of Danville; brothers, Gary Jones of Lexington and Keith (Wanda) Jones of Lexington; and grandchildren:  Barrett, Britton, Trinity, Jackson, and Rebecca.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Woody Jones.

Visitation is 11am-1pm Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with burial at New Salem Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Chuck Perry, Derek Perry, David Farmer, Lynn Jones, Ben Minks, and Chip Minks. Honorary pallbearers are nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
