Lola Irene Wilson Knouse, 75, of Stanford passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.  Born December 1, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Lula Bell Estes Wilson.  Irene was a member of Parlor Grove Baptist Church where she enjoyed attending services and going to church picnics.  She loved to visit Renfro Valley to listen to concerts.  At home, she enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds.  She was happiest sitting at the table with a cup of coffee just spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Larry B. Knouse; brothers, Roy Edward and William Wilson; and granddaughter, Chelsie.  She is survived by two sons, Jeff (Dana) Knouse of Stanford and Larry (Michelle) Knouse of Waynesburg; daughter, Kathy (Jason) Pevley of Stanford; brothers:  Harold Wilson of Yosemite, Russell (Kathy) Wilson of GA, and Donnie Wilson of Danville; sister, Flossie (Barry) Murphy of Liberty; 9 grandchildren: and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 11am-1pm Monday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.   A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm Monday with Bro. Greg Lockard officiating.  Burial is in Lanhamtown Cemetery in Casey County. Pallbearers are her nephews, Donnie Joe Wilson, Roger Dale Wilson, Craig Murphy, Matt Murphy, Mark Wilson, and Mike Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren.
