Obituary

Glenda Jean Irvin Moore, 81, of Junction City passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.  Born November 6, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Iva Reynolds Irvin. Glenda Jean loved her family with her whole heart. She enjoyed being with family making memories. One of her favorites being a family camping trip for many summers with her children and grands.  The favorite spot was on the bank of Green River "roughing it".  She taught many lessons during those weeks. Glenda also loved family reunions and visiting with aunts, uncles, and cousins. She loved watching wildlife and enjoyed her birds.  Being camp cook along with her sister-in-law, Sherry, for the deer hunts was also something she really enjoyed.

Survivors include two daughters, Ronda (Bud) Davis of Junction City and Velda (James) Savage of Garrard County; son, Clyde Dewey Moore of Campbellsville; stepdaughter, Donna Mounce of Somerset; stepson, Michael Moore of Junction City, both whom she loved as her own; sister, Joyce (Marion) Record of Danville, brother, Billy Irvin of Moreland; 2 sisters-in-law, Sherry Irvin & Vicki Irvin, both of Crab Orchard; and 1 brother-in-law, Bobby Thompson of Moreland; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
