Gladys Louise Griffin Naylor, 88, of Danville, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Born in Stanford on April 29, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Martin Griffin.

She loved the Lord. She retired from Cowden's sewing factory. Gladys loved gardening, flowers, and home decorating.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Helton, of Danville; sister, Freida Coleman of Stanford; brother, Eddie Griffin of Stanford; 12 grandchildren, including Jason Naylor and Tina Thompson of whom she raised like her own; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her sons: Benny, Bobby, and Kenny Thompson and James "Jamie" Naylor, Jr.; daughters: Sue Naylor, Mary Boswell, and Brenda Quinn; husband, James Naylor; and brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 3 at W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Bro. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Travis Quinn, Wayne Murphy, Dean Manning, Nathan Thompson, and Cody Thompson.
