Gary Stephen Jones, 73, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Born in Stanford on December 17, 1951, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Ada Maxine Jones.

Gary was a carpenter that made and sold cabinets. He was also a musician and played the bass guitar. Gary never held a grudge and was very forgiving. He had lots of friends. Gary was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Nancy Sue Osborne Jones of Liberty; sons, Kevin (Natasha) Walker of Carlisle and Kristopher (Cindy) Walker of Maysville; grandchildren: Jaylynn, Devin, and Brantley Walker; and a host of cousins.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Jones.

Visitation is 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, Monday, February 3, 2025, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow Monday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Faron Owen officiating. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tyler Osborne, Ricky Osborne, Dustin Miller, Kevin Walker, Chris Walker, and Devin Walker.
