Garrett Bryce Glaze, 23, of Danville, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Born January 27, 2000, in Lexington, he was the son of James Glaze II.

Garrett loved his family and friends. He was a graduate of Danville High school where he competed in Track and ran Cross Country. Garrett won several awards participating in Track and received a District Championship ring. He worked at Wal-Mart as a night shift stocker and enjoyed his job. Garrett also had a cat, Macy, that he loved dearly.

In addition to his father, Garrett was survived by his grandmother, Jo Ann Setters who adopted and raised him as her own, brothers: Austin Blake Glaze (Emily Gonzalez) of Michigan and Kyle Glaze of Mt. Vernon; sisters: Hannah Renee Glaze (Andre Lainhart) of Richmond and Madison Elizabeth Glaze of Danville and Caylee Glaze of Mt. Vernon; uncle, Roy Michael (Nicole) Glaze of Stanford and a special cousin, Taya Nicole Glaze (Trevor Tarter) of Stanford.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Setters.

Visitation is 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 11:00 am with Rev. Wayne Naylor officiating. Burial will be at Junction City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Roy Glaze, Andre Lainhart, Taya Glaze, Austin Glaze, Dallas Lay, and Jimmy Arnold. Honorary Pallbearers are Hannah Glaze, Madison Glaze, Trevor Tarter, and Allen Turpin.
