George Garnett Rogers, 66, of Stanford passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 surrounded by his family.  Born August 25, 1953, he was the son of the late Chester and Ruby Coleman Rogers.  He was a US Navy veteran.  Garnett attended Dix River Pentecostal Church.  He never met a stranger.  Garnett was a happy person always telling jokes and never complaining.  He loved to eat!!

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Wilma Coleman Rogers; son, Jason (Kim) Rogers of Stanford; daughter, Rose (James) Pittman of Hustonville; brothers, Roy (Judy) Rogers of Nicholasville and Charles (Markey) Rogers of Stanford; sister, Dorothy Mason of IN; five grandchildren:  Joshua (Brittany) Pittman of Liberty, Bethany (Jordan) Norris of FL, Noah Pittman, Summer Rogers, and Blake Rogers; two great grandchildren:  Autumn and Jeremiah; and a special nephew, Charles Matthew.

Visitation 11 am-1 pm, Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service 1 pm, Thursday  by Rev. Walter Bowling.  Pallbearers are Joshua Pittman, Noah Pittman, Blake Rogers, James Pittman, Jordan Norris, Jason Rogers, and Summer Rogers.  Burial is in Calvary Cemetery.  A guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com .
