Elizabeth Marie Trayner Scott, 94, of Junction City passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025.  Born August 31, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Jewell Anderson Trayner.

Marie was the oldest living member of Junction City United Methodist Church.  She was a 50-year member of the Order Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John T. Scott. She is survived by several cousins, including Bud Trayner of Danville and Tom Combs of Stanford.

Elizabeth was buried beside her husband in Junction City Cemetery.  At her direction, there would be no services.  She said she wanted to be remembered by her life, not her death.
