Earl Shearin, Jr., 73, of Lexington passed away on June 29, 2020 at home. He was born July 15, 1946 in Jacktown and was the son of the late Earl, Sr. and Ernestine McKamey Shearin. He was preceded in death by his sister, Winona Shearin.

Earl was survived by four sisters: Josephine Ballinger of Danville, Gwen Kearney of Liberty, Beverly (Bill) Peyton of Hustonville and Peggy (Harold) Antle of Elizabethtown. eight nieces and nephews: Susette, Stacey, Mindi, Richard, Cassidy, Iris, Brittany and Whitney and eight great nieces and nephews: Charli, Ben, Andrew, Stephen, Alexa, Celesta, Cole and Gianni.

Earl's family will have a private graveside service on Thursday July 2, 2020 at the McKamey-Herren Cemetery in Casey County. The Rev. David Smith will officiate. Pallbearers will be Bill Peyton, Wayne Watts, Richard Kearney, Gary Herren and Harold Antle. A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
