Douglas "Doug" Carroll Todd, 45, of Eubank, KY passed from this life on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Good Samaritan UK Hospital, surrounded by family and covered in love.  Doug was born on Friday, January 19, 1979, in Somerset, KY.

Doug was known as a very kind, compassionate, and funny man, who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. To know him was to love him. Doug had a profound love for animals, evident by the many fur babies (dogs, cats, goats...you name it) that he loved throughout the years. He had a passion for cooking and loved the holidays and family time spent around a table full of delicious food, all homemade with love.  He also loved "Home" and being at home with the love of his life and fur babies.  Doug spent a great deal of his time beautifying his and Troy's home, both inside and out.

Doug will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his survivors which are his life partner of 18 years and love of his life, Troy Hafley of Eubank; mother-in-law, Carolyn Hafley of Hustonville; sister-in-law, Angie Hafley of Science Hill; 2 nieces: Meghan (Sam) New and Michaela (Jacob) Taylor; nephew, Jody (Mary) Robertson; 6 great-nieces; 6 great-nephews; special friend, Kimi Ray, beloved fur babies, Ralphie and Lou Lou; and a host of friends and extended family.

Doug is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Danny Hafley, grandmother, Jean Hafley, grandparents, Raymond and Lousie Goode, and fur babies, Bailey, Zeke, and Jack.

The family, along with close friends, Kimi and Dustin Ray, will be having a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Ray's Pizza & Pub in Hustonville at 2:00 PM. Gifts of sympathy may be delivered to Ray's Pizza & Pub at 9828 East Main St., Hustonville the day of the service.
