Douglas "Dougie" Martin Nolan, 68, of Stanford passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026. Born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 17, 1958, he was the son of the late Arthur and Priscilla Russell Nolan.

Dougie retired from Friendship Fellowship House in Danville. He loved fishing and being outdoors. Dougie was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He also enjoyed "junkin" with his brother Stevie.

Dougie was survived by his sons: Joey Curtis of La Grange and Justin Nolan of Stanford; brother, Stevie (Aretta) Nolan of Stanford; sisters: Charlotte Griffin and the late Larry Griffin of Maxey Valley, Marlene (Bill) Schmidt of Lebanon, Mary (Donnie) Goins of Danville, and Tammy Mullins of Perryville; grandchildren: Owen, Oliver, Hayleigh, Addison, Braylinn, and Dylan.

In addition to his parents, Dougie was preceded in death by his grandson, Cameron.

Visitation is 11:00AM- 1:00PM, Monday, July 6, 2026, at W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, July 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM with Bro. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Hall Hill Cemetery.
