Verna Douglas "Doug" Yocum, 60, of Hustonville passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.  Born March 31, 1962, he was the son of the late Ernest Eugene and Doris Yocum Richards.   Doug enjoyed being with his friends and family, he always loved having a good time.  Early in life, Doug was a shipwright; he took pride and showed a real passion in his work. Doug also worked for a gate company where he was able to travel to many states during his life and experience many things along the way.

Survivors include his son, Shane Yocum (Tiffany Emerson) of Hustonville; daughter, Sharonna Yocum of Hustonville; brother, Ernie (Teresa) Richards of Hustonville; grandchildren:  Kensleigh, Sarah, and Kenzie; and aunts:  Mary (Ed) Durham of Yosemite, Vivian Luttrell of Geneva, and Bivian Walls of Geneva.
