Doris Marie Anderson Sinkhorn, 88, of Junction City passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022.  Born November 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Flossie Mae Poynter Anderson.  Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Sinkhorn, Sr; son, Leo Sinkhorn, Jr; brother, Junior Anderson and sister, Helen Phillips.

Doris was a member of Harris Creek Baptist Church.  She enjoyed time spent helping with the Ephraim McDowell Auxiliary and attending her homemaker's group.  She had worked in the cafeteria at Boyle County High School and at Burke's Bakery.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandie Wells and Shelia (Darin) Horton, both of Junction City; 9 grandchildren:  Chris (Kim) Pennington, Dawn (Tony) Smith, Zachary (Amanda) Wilburn, Kayla Wilburn, Tanner (Maria) Pinkston, Joshua Horton, Daniel Horton, Alan Sinkhorn, and Erika Sinkhorn; and 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation is 12-2 pm, Monday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm.  Burial is in Parksville Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Chris Pennington, Zachary Wilburn, Tanner Pinkston, Joshua Horton, Daniel Horton, Josh Pennington, Alan Sinkhorn, Keagan Russell, and Nate Smith.
