In Memory Donna P. Travers of Hollis, NH. She passed away on Sept. 22, 2023, succumbing to dementia at the age of 77. She was the beloved daughter of Magdalene and Sherman Morris, devoted sister to Edward, Floyd (deceased), and Lester (deceased). Donna is survived by husband George A. Travers of 42 years, plus three long hair dachshunds, Abraham, Abagail and Jasmine, all 15 years old. She retired from a career in HR/Management Analyst USAF. Throughout her entire life, she was a very active person. Starting in high school, she participated in band/saxophone, Red Cross, photography, Titan Follies Cast member, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and bowling. Later, she would walk 20 miles for the "Walk for Hunger" in Boston, MA, for 27 years, she enjoyed gardening (extensive hummingbird, butterfly and rose gardens), hiking, kayaking, biking, racquetball, and fitness classes 5-6x wk. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, growing house plants, crocheting, knitting, quilting and embroidery. As the pilot, she drove her Mazda Miata convertible on backroads all over New Hampshire & Vermont while George swivel necked looking in backyards and fields for treasures (old cars and farm equipment). She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and seeing the different birds and wildlife that came to visit, including black bears to enjoy their sunflower seeds. They recently spent a few days in Vancouver, British Columbia and took a cruise to Alaska - her comments: "It was awesome!" and "I am enjoying life." Donna had a contagious smile that could brighten anyone's day and a compassionate nature that made her beloved by all who knew her. She will live in hearts forever with countless, beautiful, and gracious memories.

A memorial service will be held at Moreland Cemetery on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 11:00am.
