Donald Loyd Warren, 95, of Danville passed away Friday, August 5, 2022.  Born November 9, 1926, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Millard and Bertha Mercer Warren.  He is survived by his wife, Rena Drakeford Warren of Stanford.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Gordon Warren.

Donald was a member of Indian Hills Christian Church.  He was a US Army WWII veteran.  He was a Sergeant in 8 ^th Engineers 1 ^st Cavalry Division.  Donald worked for 41 years at Inter County RECC and was Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 208 for 22 years.

Other survivors include one son, Gary (Glenda) Warren and one daughter, Brenda (Bill) Fox, both of Danville; grandson, Clay Warren of Lexington; granddaughter, Jill (Kyle) Mason of TN; two great granddaughters, Riley and Reece Mason of TN; three stepsons:  Woody, John, and Jerry Drakeford, all of Stanford; a sister, Gladys Richardson of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.

A private family Memorial Service will be held.
