Obituary

Susan Diane Trailor, 67, of Stanford passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 with her daughters at her bedside.  Born June 29, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Clifton Briscoe and Lena Elizabeth Lawson Sandidge. Diane loved bird watching, traveling, crafts, and photography.  She was a devoted mother and wife, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grands.  They were her life. She retired from American Greeting after 41 years.

Diane is survived by her husband of almost 49 years, Cecil Trailor; daughters: Amy (Ken) Acree of FL, Amber (Andy) Shelton of Junction City, Ashley (David) Phillips of Junction City, and Afton Parsons of Stanford; brother, Dale Smith of Moreland; sister, Dixie (Elwood) Brown of Moreland; father-in-law, Lawrence Trailor of Hustonville; 13 grandchildren:  Justin, Grace, and Piper Acree, Foster (Amanda) Shelton, Tatum and Avery Anna Shelton, Maddy and Makayla Phillips, Brock, Briscoe, Ben, and Josslyn Parsons, and Raven Harrison; and 3 great grandchildren: Cayden, Rohen, and Willow.

Visitation is 5-8 pm, Tuesday night at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service is 11 am, Wednesday with Pastor Jessie Riley officiating.  Pallbearers are Ken Acree, Andy Shelton, Justin Acree, Foster Shelton, Brock Parsons, Evan Reid, and Trevor Reid.  Honorary pallbearers are her remaining grandchildren and her nephews, Nathan and Stephen Smith.  A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
