Diane Jean Welch Gray, 87, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Born in Denver, Colorado on October 26, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Margaret Smith Welch.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Sam) Peters of Lancaster; sister, Joan Schmidt of CO; grandchildren: Karen (Jeff) Brotherton of SC, Sarah (Roy) Crumrine of OH, Samantha (Sean) Causey of FL, Jacob Peters of NC, and Jesse (Ashleigh) Peters of Lexington; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Gray; son, Arthur Gray; and sister, Jancie Martin.

No funeral services are planned at this time.
