Denise Marie Parr, 55 of Danville passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.  Born April 19, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur Slaughter and Katherine Parr Yocum.

Denise was a loving and gracious servant of the Lord, always helping those in need.  She was a caregiver who put others above herself.  Denise was very active in her Sunday School class and donated blood every month.  She was truly a blessing to everyone who knew her.  She was a member of Indian Hills Christian Church.

Denise is survived by a son, Jonathan Terry of Danville; brothers, Richard Slaughter of Hopkinsville and Roger Gibson of FL; uncle, Pete Parr of Danville; cousin, Peggy Parr of AL, who was like a sister to her; and Lisa Voyles, who she thought of as a daughter. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Allen Slaughter.

Funeral Service will be at 6 pm, Tuesday at Indian Hills Christian Church.  Visitation is 4-6 pm, Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions are suggested to a Go Fund Me in her name.
