David Howard Williams, 67, of Gravel Switch passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025.  Born December 26, 1957, he was the son of the late Ben Howard Williams and Mary Eaton Robertson Williams. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Connie Russell Williams; by his sister, Mary Freear Williams; and by his uncle, Mickey (Judy) Robertson.

David was a carpenter and craftsman. He liked to work with his hands. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding.

David is survived by 4 first cousins: Martha (Mark) Davenport of Lexington, Edward (Loudetta) Robertson of Danville, Marjorie (Jim) Dinsmore of Danville, and Dr. John (Jill) Robertson of Danville; brother-in-law, Scott (Karen) Russell of Nicholasville; sisters-in-law, Lisa Dennis of Lexington and Kim (Paul) Kargel of Lexington; a special friend, Shelia Hagan Mills; his fur friends, Nelly, Little Man, and Chief; and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
