David Harold Chandler, 68, of Junction City passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021.  Born June 11, 1953, he was the son of the late Harold Sanford and Helen Louise Ziglar Chandler.  David retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 40 years and was a member of Junction City First Christian Church.  He was an avid UK basketball and Cincinnati Reds baseball fan.  David was a devoted husband, dad, and papaw.  He loved having his family together at his home.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Louise Sandidge Chandler; sons, Jeremy (Amy) Watson of Junction City and Jonathan (Erin) Chandler of Danville; daughter, Becky (Nick) Rhodus of Danville; and grandchildren:  Shelby Watson, Carly Watson, Penny Woodruff, Lola Woodruff, Cole Chandler, Cam Chandler, and another granddaughter due in January.

Visitation is 5-8 pm, Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  The Funeral Service will be at 11 am, Thursday with his son, Jeremy Watson, officiating.  Pallbearers will be Ricky Peyton, Jason Russell, Jeff Godbey, Casey Cox, Maurice Clark, Joe Ishmael, Jeff Greene, and Gary Chandler.   Honorary pallbearers are his Junction City First Christian Church family.  Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
