David Arthur Busch, 84, of Hustonville passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Born August 31, 1942, he was the son of the late Rihman and Catharine Busch. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Juletta “Judy” York Busch.

David was a US Army veteran. He was an active, adventurous individual who loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed riding, flying, skiing and sailing with friends and family. As an inventor and engineer he found a way to customize anything and was easy to find in the workshop working on a project at home.

David is survived by his daughters, Jessica (Matt) Carter of Danville and Lyndal Busch of Louisville; brother, Robert Busch of Maine; sister, Catharine (Kenneth) Walters of South Carolina; grandchildren, Elizabeth Carter of Michigan and Chip Carter of Louisville; half-sister, Connie Busch; step-brother, Stuart Cushman; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:30 pm, Monday, September 21, 2026, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:30 pm with Military Honors by the US Army Honor Guard. Burial will be held at a later date at Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY.
