Daisy Marie Sears Rousey, 98, of Hustonville passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026.  Born April 1, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Alford and Alice "Allie" Sears. In addition to her parents, Daisy was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Rousey; son, Jerry Lewis Rousey; grandchild, Jamey Hayes; and great grandchild, Briggs Lynn.

Daisy attended Hustonville Baptist Church. She loved to shop and enjoyed her flowers in the spring.

Daisy is survived by her daughters, Jackie Rakes of Bradfordsville and Judy (Dennis) Bullock of Waynesburg; daughter-in-law of Hustonville, Linda Rousey; 6 grandchildren: Ashley Lynn, Jordan (Savannah Chansler) Rousey, Jimmy Dwayne (Shannon) Rakes, Lisa Carol Rakes, and Marlena (Bobby) Wilcher and James Lewis (Amanda) Hayes; 13 great grandchildren: and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation is 11am-1pm, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with Bro. Andrew McGinnis officiating.  Burial will be at Hustonville Cemetery.
