Curtis Lee Wren, 74, of Perryville passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Born April 5, 1948, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Bertha Wilkerson Wren. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Fisher and by brothers, David Wren and infant, Jerry Wren.
Curtis was a US Army Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed feeding and watching the hummingbirds, was an avid UK basketball fan, and loved to deer hunt. He also enjoyed watching Westerns and Hallmark movies.
Curtis is survived by his wife of 48 years, Charlotte Hampton Wren; daughter, Karen Nevels of Eubank; sons, Kevin (Rebecca) Wren of Danville and Brian (Mable) Wren of Parksville; brother, Glen (Linda) Wren of Danville; sisters, Jenny (Wesley) Boyd and Brenda Hillard, both of Danville; seven grandchildren: Matthew Fisher of Loretta, Kristen Fisher of Danville, Logan Wren of Parksville, Brittney Wren of Parksville, Miranda Wren of Parksville, Kylee Wren of Parksville, and Mason Wren of Danville; two step-grandchildren, Kayla and Kasey McQueary; and eight great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Grace, Colton, Millie, Ali, Aris, Bobby, Aubrey, and Nicholas due in December.
Visitation is 5-8 pm, Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service is 1 pm, Monday at the funeral home with Bro. Wendell Douglas and Bro. Johnnie Goodin officiating. Burial is in Parksville Cemetery. Pallbearers are his grandchildren. A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
