Connie Lee Cochran Statom, 78, of Junction City passed away Monday, September 16, 2024.  Born June 23, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Rebekah Gibson Burns and stepfather, Jake Burns.

Connie was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church. She enjoyed babysitting and kept numerous children through the years.  She loved them as if they were her own, and she taught each of them about Christ.

Connie is survived by her husband, Eddie Statom; son, Troy Statom of Junction City; brother, David (Sally) Cochran of Perryville; grandchildren: Christian Hurt, Amber Houston, and Mykajah Taylor; and Tammy (Shane) Randolph and family, who she loved like her own family.

Visitation is 11am-1pm Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service to follow at 1pm Thursday with Bro. JR Fields officiating.  Burial is at Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ricky Sellers, Tim Montgomery, and Shane Randolph.
