Obituary

Conn "Poppie" Joseph Bodner of Danville passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.  Born February 22, 1944, he was the son of the late David D. and Nina Cox Bodner.  In addition to his parents, Conn was also preceded in death by a daughter, Alisa Jo Ruckel and a brother, David Lee Bodner.

Conn was a "workaholic".  He loved working on the farm and owned and operated a dairy farm in Waynesburg.

Conn is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charlene Mills Bodner; son, Mark Bodner of Waynesburg; sisters: Lois Ann (Bob) Aaron of Lexington and Rhonda Bodner of Junction City; son-in-law, Doug Ruckel; sister-in-law, Connie Sue Bodner; three grandchildren: Brittany Elkins, Jordan (Desiree) Ruckel, and Caleb (Tabitha) Ruckel, all  of Stanford; six great grandchildren:  Karson, Kelsi, Meredith, Oliver, Jacob, and Mallie Jo; and Kelsi's mother, Michelle Amon; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
