Clara Helen Montgomery Griffin, 88, of Hustonville, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Born in Stanford on November 22, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Cora Hafley Montgomery.

Helen retired from Genesco. She loved cats and raising flowers. Helen was a faithful member of Hustonville Baptist since childhood.

Helen is survived by her nieces and nephew: Troy Qualls (Ron Dotson), Tammy Patterson, Michelle (Terry) Wilcher, Sharon Caldwell, Stephanie Wilcher, and Dana Vaught.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her spouse, Franklin Griffin; sisters: Ruby Vaught and Shelby Qualls; and nephew, Shannon Smith.

Visitation is 11:00am-1:00pm, Monday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Bro. Andrew McGinnis officiating. Burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Troy Qualls, Ron Dotson, Austin Terry, Michael Wilcher, and James Smith.
