Christy Delaine Westerfield Martinez, 48, of Danville passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021.  Born February 21, 1973, she was the daughter of Bonnie Short Westerfield and the late John Westerfield, III.

Christy was a member of Danville Church of God where she really enjoyed church. She loved butterflies, growing plants and flowers, eating Mexican food, and going on long drives.  She loved her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, Christy is survived by her two sons, Morgan Ray Martinez and Shawn Pablo Martinez, both of Danville; brother, John David (Angie) Westerfield, IV of Lincoln County and their children, Allison and John David Westerfield, IV; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation is 10-1 pm Wednesday at Danville Church of God on Fourth Street.  Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm Wednesday at the church with Pastor Bryan Montgomery officiating.  Pallbearers are Shawn Martinez, Morgan Martinez, John Westerfield, IV, Brian McElroy, David Elliott, Ronnie Short, Donnie Short, and Austin Gibson.  Burial is in Danville Bellevue Cemetery.
