Christopher Michael Godbey, 51, of Parksville passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024. Born in Danville on July 9, 1972, he was the son of Connie (Kenny) Hampton of Hustonville and the late Vadis Robert "Bob" Godbey.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Anita Pike and father-in-law, Mike Montgomery.

Chris is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Christie Montgomery Godbey of Parksville; daughter, Abby Godbey (Ryder Schindler) of Parksville; son, Jacob Godbey of Parksville; sister, Tracy (Kelly) Burchett of Junction City; and father-in-law, Danny Pike of Parksville.

Chris worked at Jackson Chair for over 20 years.  He presently worked as manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Danville.  Chris loved old "hot rods", music, and singing.  He loved people and never met a stranger.  Spending time with his wife, children, and loved ones was most important to him.

The family is honoring his request for cremation and no public service.
