Charlotte Slone Thornsberry, 81, of Moreland passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Born in Holly Bush, Kentucky on September 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Lora Slone.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 61 years, James Sullivan Thornsberry of Moreland; son: Timothy (Paula) Thornsberry of Nicholasville and James Heath (Beverly) Thornsberry of Moreland, sisters: Phyllis Wesley of Pippa Passes, Margie Sexton of Pippa Passes, Alice (Thomas) Gipson of Stanford, and Debbie (Charlie) Sparkman of Pippa Passes; brothers: Anthony (Fawn) Sloan of Crab Orchard and David (Marie) Sloan of Nicholasville; brothers-in-law: Cloys Thornsberry of Amburgey, Devon Thornsberry of Hindman. Larry (Charlotte) Thornsberry of Hindman; sisters-in-law: Colette Triplett of Mallie and Ruth Sexton of Littcarr; grandchildren: Ceara Thornsberry of Nicholasville, Timothy Justin Thornsberry of Nicholasville, Cayley Thornsberry of Stanford, Michael (Lizzy) Crowe of Danville, and Austin (Kayla) Crowe of Harrodsburg; great-grandchildren: Adi Crowe, Revan Crowe, Oakley Crowe, Sophia Dennis, and Wesley Dennis.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Kingdom Hall in Stanford.
