Charlie Neal, 68, of Junction City passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023.  Born January 30, 1955, he was the son of the late Robert Neal and Mattie Nichols Payton.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Neal, and brothers, June Neal and John Neal.

Charlie loved to spend time outdoors.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hiking with his dog, Jack.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 17 years, Joyce Ann Neal; stepdaughter, Christy (Jeremy) Puckett of TN; brother, Jim (Kathy) Neal of Nicholasville; and step-grandchildren, Isaac Puckett and Matthew Puckett.

Visitation is 11am-1pm Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Mike Puckett officiating. Burial is in Good Hope Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions suggested to Heritage Hospice. A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
