Charles Wayne Scott, 87, of Harrodsburg, KY, died Sunday, October 25, 2026.

Charles was born in Illinois on December 27th, 1938, to Rev. Robert F. Scott and Ethel Scott. He graduated from EKU before starting a lifelong career as an educator. He was the principal at Boyle County High School, Western Anderson School, and then served as the superintendent for Burgin Independent Schools until he retired.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sue Carol (Terrell) Scott, his children Jeffrey Scott and Jenny Scott, his son-in-law Brian Kindel, and his three grandchildren, Brandon Scott, Morgan Kindel, and Sophia Kindel.
