Cecil L. McElroy, 60, of Moreland passed away at his home on Friday, February 16, 2024.  Born November 16, 1963, he was the son of the late Johnny McElroy and Nancy Benge Pinkston.  In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by his first wife, Dana Carroll McElroy.              .

Cecil is survived by his wife, Tamara Thomas McElroy; daughter, Amanda Joanne McElroy (Cameron Bullock) of Somerset; son, Cecil McElroy "Little Cecil" (Tammy Smith) of Moreland; brother, Andrew McElroy of Lincoln County; and his fur baby, Paisley Grace.

He loved car shows and was a "classic" car enthusiast.  Cecil enjoyed traveling and had traveled Route 66 out west. He also liked to camp and fish.

Visitation is 11am-1pm Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with Bro. Buddy Davis officiating.  Pallbearers are Ronnie Davis, Cameron Bullock, Eddie Bullock, Brandon Sheene, Steven Goode, and Jimmie Ellis.  Honorary pallbearer is his son, Little Cecil.  Burial is in Moreland Cemetery.  A guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
