Carol Mae Clevenger Pierce, 91, of Casey County passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.  Born September 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Troy and Mary Maynard Clevenger.

In addition to her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edgar Pierce; daughters: Carmeleta Wright, Ramona Kay Wright, and Delinda Johnson; 3 stepchildren: Judy Huegel, Steve Pierce, and Jerry Pierce; grandson, Andre Pierce; and 2 great grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her son, David (Barbara) Pierce of Casey County; 9 grandchildren: Jessica Pierce (Michael Berkshire) of Stanton, Michael (Fawn) Pierce of Liberty, Ashley Wolford of Hustonville, Koty Johnson of NV; Shannon Adams of CA, Heather Garrett of Hustonville, Chris Pierce of TN, Shawn (Lori) Pierce of Liberty, and Rachel (Chad) Taylor of Liberty; and 13 great grandchildren.

Carol loved to volunteer at church and school.  She enjoyed gardening and canning and was a great cook.

Visitation is 1-3 pm, Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will begin at 3 pm with Pastor Scott Cochran officiating.  Burial is at Antioch Cemetery in Casey County. Pallbearers are Michael Pierce, Ethan Pierce, Chris Pierce, Tegan Hooker, Adrian Allen, and Billy DeHart.
