Bryant Herman Johnson, 68, of Danville passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.  Born May 2, 1953, he was the son of the late Bryant and Clara Louise Wilcher Johnson.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lorene Campbell, and brothers, Phillip Johnson and Jimmy Johnson.

Bryant is survived by his best friend and companion, Sharon Gerlach of Danville; his beloved dog, Lucy; three daughters:  Crystal Butcher of Lexington, Nikki (Phillip) Murphy of Nicholasville, and Laura (Ryan) Art of Lexington; three sisters: Delores Yates of Hustonville, Jean (Donnie) Shearer of Nicholasville, and Diane Duvall of Danville; six grandchildren:  Bayli, Austin, and Levi Murphy, Caitlyn Butcher, and Wade and Hunter Art; great-granddaughter, Arabella Baker; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation is 11am-1pm Monday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm Monday at Bellevue Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Ray Cochran, Donnie Shearer, Simon "Quickie" Gilpin, Phillip Murphy, Levi Murphy, and Austin Murphy.  A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
