Obituary

Billy Ray Pike, 72, of Danville passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024.  Born February 6, 1952, he was the son of the late Bradley Jerome and Dora Mae Belcher Pike.

Billy was an active member and a deacon at Parksville Baptist Church.  He loved to fish and loved the Kentucky Wildcats and the Boyle County Rebels.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Pike; 3 sisters:  Dorothy Roberts, Barbara Holt, and Rosie Smock; and a son-in-law, Mike Stratton.

Billy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Diane Pike; daughter, Melissa (Brian) Elder of Danville; a niece, who he loved like a daughter, Margaret Stratton; 5 grandchildren: Ashley Elder of Danville, Austin Lamb of Mitchellsburg, Tyler (Jessi) Byrd of Harrodsburg, Mia Weigel of Hustonville, and Whitney Stratton of Junction City; 4 great-grandchildren: Silas Ray Lamb, Sawyer Byrd, Kampton Byrd, and Gracelyn Stratton; brother-in-law, Bobby Webb of Danville; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and was Papaw to numerous others.

Visitation is 5-8 pm Monday, May 13, 2024, at Parksville Baptist Church.  Funeral Service will be 1 pm Tuesday at the church with Bro. Phillip Coffman, Bro. JR Fields, and Bro. Nelson Reynolds officiating.  Burial will be at Parksville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robbie Pike, Austin Lamb Tyler Byrd, Dennis Williams, and Larry Reardon.  Honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Sledge, David Wilson, Chad Adams, and "Big Dawg".
