Billy Gene Douglas, 80, of Junction City passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022.  Born August 15, 1942, he was the son of the late Roy and Alpha Cutter Douglas.

Billy was a US Marine veteran.  He loved hunting and fishing and all animals, especially his dogs.  He had worked as a building contractor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Etta B. Wilson, Clara Pemberton, and Margie Abbot and by his brother, LeRoy Douglas.

Survivors include his brothers, Jim (Rita) Douglas and Steve Henry Douglas, both of Junction City; step-grandchildren that he loved dearly, Tanner Crawford and Jack Griffith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 11am-1pm, Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow at 1pm.  Burial is in Hustonville Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Joe Douglas, Timmy Douglas, Todd Douglas, Chad Douglas, and Jimmy Wilson.  Honorary pallbearers are his nieces and nephews.  A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com .
