Betty Jo Denham Long, 75, of Stanford passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024.  Born February 19, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Lucille Young Denham.

Betty was an avid collector of music boxes, chickens, and roosters.  She enjoyed traveling, cooking, crocheting, and listening to Elvis music. Most of all, she loved her family and her Lord.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, David Long; and sister and brothers: Louise, Mark Ralph, Woody, and Ronald.  Betty is survived by her son, David Archer (Deborah) Long, II of Chaplin; daughters, Pamela Jo Wesley (Pat Gifford) of Hustonville and Jamie Ann (Dale) Young of Danville; brother, Calvin (Harriett) Denham of Stanford, sister, Sandra Grant of Stanford; 8 grandchildren:  Marcus Layne (Adriana) Wesley of Lawrenceburg, Jacob (Megan) Wesley of Hustonville, Elijah Lawson of Lexington, Cole Young of Danville, Calli (Cruz) Murphy of Danville, Faithlynn Long (Wesley Howard) of Liberty, Logan Long of Chaplin, and Lexi Beth Long of Chaplin; and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation is 11am-1pm, Monday at W.L Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm, Monday with Pastor Bob Fields officiating. Pallbearers are Layne Wesley, Jacob Wesley, Elijah Lawson, Cole Young, Cruz Murphy, and Logan Long.  Burial is at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
