Betty Katherine Sherrow Harp, 73, of Moreland passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.  Born May 17, 1948, she was the daughter of the late James Wilbur and Dorothy Marie Middleton Sherrow.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Elijah Harp, III; son, Christopher Ray Harp; brother, James Sherrow; and sisters, Wanda Land and Linda Farmer.

Betty Kay loved to travel and was a huge dirt race car fan.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed visiting light houses. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.  Betty Kay was the kindest person you'd ever meet.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa (Leo) Hernandez of Danville; son, James Stephen Harp of Moreland; grandchildren:  Kaytlin Harp, Antonio Guzman, Juan Colunga, and Katiana Colunga.

Visitation is 11am-1pm Monday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm Monday with burial at Danville Bellevue Cemetery.
