Arnold Earl Herrmann, 93, of Danville passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025. Born February 12, 1932, he was the son of the late Earl Edward and Dorothea Dallmann Herrmann.

Arnold was a US Navy Veteran and a member of Centenary Methodist Church.  He retired from the Ford Motor Company where he worked as a plant engineer. Arnold liked to hunt and enjoyed gardening.  He was a gifted craftsman and especially enjoyed working with wood and building furniture.

Arnold is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jody Herrmann; sisters-in-law, Mary L. Hearne of Danville and Tina L. Ray of TN; nephew, A.G. (Kathy) Hearne of Michigan; nieces, Caren Hearne, Jeanine (David) Sanders, and Elaine Hearne, all of Danville; and 6 great-nieces and nephews: Oliver Davis, Collins (Allison) Davis, Alex (Molly) Sanders, Paige Sanders, Susan (Tom) Bellisario, and Adam Hearne (Amy Benchich); and 9 great-great-nieces and nephews: Audra, Cora, Knox, Josie, Graham, Gabriel, Bianca, Thomas, and John.

Visitation will be 11-1 PM Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Centenary Methodist Church Chapel. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 PM with Rev. Chris Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Oliver Davis, Collins Davis, A. G. Hearne, Alex Sanders, David Sanders and Mike Kondik.
