Anita Elaine Gibson Pike, 68, of the Forkland Community passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, at home. Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on April 14, 1955 to the late Ulios "Gib" Lester Gibson and Martha Frances Riddle Gibson. She attended Friendship Baptist Church and worked at A Gathering Place - Danville-Boyle County for almost 30 years and was the Adult Daycare Director. She took great pride in her work and caring for those entrusted to her.  She will be remembered fondly by the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Danny A. Pike, her daughter, Christie Annette (Chris) Godbey of Forkland, 2 grandchildren: Jacob Tyler Godbey and Abigayle Elaine Godbey of Forkland; her sister: Leslie Gibson Montgomery of Princeton; 2 sisters-in-law: Cindy Pike and Lois Pike, both of Junction City; her niece, Mitzi Lee Martin, and nephew, Douglas Lee Martin, Jr., both of Princeton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ulios Lester Gibson, Jr.

Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023, at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Bro. Stacey Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Elder Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Godbey, Douglas Lee Martin, Jr., Mark Gordon, James Hubbard, Ryder Schindler, and Tony Pike.    Honorary pallbearers will be the staff and clients of A Gathering Place.
