Amy Leeann Johnson McAtee, 47, of Hustonville passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026.  Born January 1, 1979, she was the daughter of Orville Johnson and the late Annette Stephens Cooper.

Amy was a homemaker.  She had a good personality, a big heart, and liked to talk about God.  Amy loved music, singing, writing, and watching boxing.  She encouraged you to see the positive in everything. Amy had a passion for ocean life and especially loved dolphins.

Amy is survived by her father, Orville (Paula) Johnson of Mt. Sterling; sons, C.J. McAtee of OH and James Crutcher of Lexington; daughters:  McKayla Amber Dawn McAtee of Hustonville and LeeAnna Crutcher of Lexington; brothers: Shane (Maria) Caudill of Winchester and Alex Johnson of Mt. Sterling; sister, Jessica (Chuck) Hawkins of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren:  Madison Crutcher and Rose McAtee; fiancé, Joshua Couch of Hustonville; and dog, "Sissy".

Visitation is scheduled for 11am-1pm, Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home of Hustonville, KY.  A Memorial Service will follow at 1 pm with Sally Pittman officiating.
