Amelia Leigh "Amy" Goode, 78, of Hustonville passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Born January 23, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William Robert and Mary Margaret McAllister Leigh.
Amy was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had worked at Ephraim McDowell Hospital for 22 years. She was a volunteer at WDFB Radio Station, loved quilting, and raising flowers in her yard.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-five years, James Robert "Jim" Goode of Hustonville; sons, Scott (Penny) Upton of Lincoln County and Robert (Reggie Ross) Coulter of Atlanta; daughters, Stephanie Spackman of Utah and Sandy (Stuart) Conder of Moreland; sister, Betty Goode of Crab Orchard; twelve grandchildren: Kanon, Justin, Ashley, Scarlet, Elijah, Cortney, Amanda, Heather, Dakota, Jessica, Christapher, and Michael; and thirteen great grandchildren: Gwen, Grant, Jr., Grayson, Lucy, Sloane, Levi, Alex, Ethan, Addison, Jaden, Nick, Max, and Haley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Morris Leigh; sister, Mary Francis "Tootie" Vest; and great grandson, Graham.
Visitation is 1 pm, Saturday, April 24 th at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Memorial Service following at 2 pm with Bro. Kyle Stachewicz officiating. A private Graveside Service will be held at Moreland Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to Heritage Hospice or WDFB Radio, 3596 Alum Springs Rd, Danville, KY.
