Alpha Jean Kilburn, 67, of Junction City passed away at home on Saturday, February 3, 2023.  Born in Harlan on July 26, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Polly and Jack Bloomer.  She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Blaine Kilburn.

Alpha loved the Lord and going to church, doing for others, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Shawn) Rice of Stanford, granddaughter, Taylin Rice of Stanford, and sister, Patsy (Fred) Saylor of Harlan.

She is preceded in death by her siblings: Audrey and Bill Bloomer.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 5-8 PM with funeral service at Noon on Thursday. Services will be at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Pastor Ray Stepp will officiate. Burial will follow in Science Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn Rice, Keith Cash, Khalil White, Daniel Wilder, Matthew Pierce, and Bobby Joe Loveless.
