Alma Jane Propes Schmiers, 58, of Stanford, formerly of Casey County passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.  Born March 5, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Hobert Eugene and Ruby Mae Barger Propes.  She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Adriel Marie and Helen Mae Schmiers.

Alma is survived by her husband of 38 years, James Edward "Chuck" Schmiers; brothers:  Donald (Shirley) Propes, Darrell (Phyllis) Propes, Norman Propes, and Lester Propes; and sisters:  Brenda Luster, Linda Payton, Wanda Johnson, and Kimberly Stacy.
