Alice Estelle Rainey, 80, of Stanford passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Born in Ashley, Maryland on August 27, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Young Krout.

Alice loved going to the senior citizens center, bingo, and playing cards with her family and friends.

Alice is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her spouse, Ray Rainey; brothers: George Krout, Glen Krout, John Krout, and infant brother, Paul Krout; and sister, Ruth Gentry.
