Richard Thomas

Richard “Dickie” Wren, 58 of Georgetown, formerly of Danville, died August 1, 2012. Born November 2, 1953, he was the son of the late Henry and Mable Wilkerson Wren. He was a landscaper for Hinkle. He is survived by his companion, Peggy Whitlock; 2 daughters: Milessa (Brad) Lynn and Melody Charles, both of Georgetown; 3 step-children: Derrick, Charlie and LaTosha Whitlock; 5 brothers: James (Nancy) Wren of New Salem, Billy (Bobbie) Wren of Lexington, Mike (Jennifer) Wren of Junction City, Allen (Anita) Wren of Danville, and Johnny McKnight of Virginia; 5 sisters: Brenda (Kenneth) Hillard of Parksville, Teresa Lister of Lexington, Linda (Kevin) Rye of Danville, Barbara McKnight of Kings Mountain and Robbie Walters of Nicholasville; 3 grandchildren: Ashley Lynn, Steven Lynn and Brooke Asberry. Memorial Service is scheduled for 7 PM, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Moreland by Bro. Daryl Hodge with visitation after 4 PM. Guestbook@www.wlpruitt.com
