Annie Himes McCowan, 84 of Junction City died Sunday, July 22, 2012. Born May 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Lizzie Himes. She was a member of Junction City First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse McCowan. Survivors include her 3 sons: Henry (Katie) McCowan, Ike McCowan and Bill (Joyce) McCowan; 3 daughters: Carol Hair, Mary (John) Hurst and Brenda (Kenneth) Cross, all of Junction City; 1 sister, Betty Hacaga of Florida; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Howard and a sister, Edna Elder. Services will be at 2 pm, Wed. at Junction City First Baptist Church by Bro. Dale Denton and Bro. Don Garland with burial in Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers are Anthony, Jeff, Jason, Daniel and Aaron McCowan and Rudy Arreola. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Charleston Health Care.
