David Lee Bodner, 60 of Moreland, beloved husband of Connie Cope Bodner, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Born July 19, 1951, he was the son of David Dawl and Nina Cox Bodner of Moreland. He was an executive board member of Journey Community Church. Other survivors are 2 daughters: Heather (Jerry) Jones of London and Shawna (Mike) Roberts of Stanford; 1 brother, Conn (Charlene) Bodner of Waynesburg; 2 sisters: Lois (Bob) Aaron of Lexington and Rhonda Sue Bodner of Stanford; and 4 grandchildren: Tristan, Jasper, Elizabeth and Evelyn. Services will be at 3 PM, Sun. at Journey Community Church by Pastor BJ Taylor with burial in Moreland Cemetery. Pallbearers are Allen and Tommy Maddox, Billy Stringer, Marvin Wilson, and Johnny and Paul Bodner. Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Sebastin, Kim Brown, Ronnie Cooper, Glen Dotson, Mike Miller, Jeff Ruckel, Jason Brown, Lester Byrd and Doug McQueen. Visitation is 5-8 PM, Sat. at W.L.
